Courtney’s work as a documentarian has that rare quality—a voice; a distinctive feel. Applying a stylized, edit and effects driven approach, she is able to communicate the deeply visceral experience of her storyteller subjects visually to the audience.
As the former Head of Video and Original Content for WebMD, Courtney has lots of experience telling medical-based stories. Her testimonial short films, spanning subjects such as Narcolepsy, Diabulimia, Alzheimer’s and MS, have won awards and recognition at premier festivals such as SXSW, Tribeca, TIFF, and DOCNYC.
She has more recently moved into the branded space, directing testimonial work for clients such as Biogen and Regeneron, and beyond healthcare helming docu and lifestyle campaigns for Chick-Fil-A, Mercedes, Dove and more.
